According to the latest notice issued by the NMPA of a district in Guangdong Province,the data review will be carried out after the filing of domestic ordinary cosmetics of new platform.
The enterprise shall prepare materials for future reference as required,contact the NMPA,Submit paper materials on site at the agreed time.
The notice requires to be implemented from next week.

The Municipal Bureau issued a notice requesting all bureaus under the jurisdiction to carry out the examination of filed product materials according to the requirements of the Notice of The Office of Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration on Strengthening the Inspection of Products on the New Platform for Filing of Ordinary Cosmetics. The data review of the new system includes issuance of verification opinions, review of verification opinions, confirmation of verification opinions, and three-level review.
Key points of examination:
1. Focus on checking whether the online filing materials meet the requirements of related regulations,Whether the offline paper materials meet the authenticity conformance requirements.
2. For companies that perform poorly in daily filing management and daily supervision and inspection, such as related filing products that are repeatedly required to be ordered to rectify,violations of regulations are found in daily supervision and are filed for investigation, related products are found to be unqualified during random inspections,and if the relevant product has been complained and reported many times, it shall be the key object of supervision and inspection after filing.
3. For infant cosmetics, children's cosmetics and other varieties under the key supervision of the NPPA, the supervision and inspection after filing should be fully covered, and the products with quality problems found in the filing should be investigated and dealt with according to regulations.
The filing inspection shall be conducted on Tuesday and Thursday every week,starting next week.
This is another important regulatory action taken by the government against ordinary cosmetics following the recent incident of excessive and over-range use of anti-freckle and whitening ingredients in ordinary cosmetics.
