According to the relevant requirements of the "Notice of the Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration on Adjusting the Follow-up Approval of Medical Devices Required for Epidemic Prevention and Control" (No. 64, 2020), from October 1, 2020, the market supervision departments in our province will issue Emergency filing certificates such as medical masks (including disposable medical masks, medical surgical masks, and medical protective masks), medical protective clothing, and infrared thermometers will become invalid on their own, and enterprises may no longer use the emergency filing certificates to carry out production. Combined with the current production capacity and regulatory requirements of the above products in our province, the announcement is as follows:

From October 1, 2022, emergency filing products such as medical masks (including disposable medical masks, medical surgical masks, and medical protective masks), medical protective clothing, and infrared thermometers issued by market supervision departments across the province are prohibited from circulation. 

It is hereby announced.
